Therapy is art and science. I use the science of cognitive-behavioral theory and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to provide effective, evidence-based care. I blend the art of listening, connecting and relationship development to provide healing and hope to my clients.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California. I received my Master's of Science in Counseling, marriage and family therapy from California State University, Long Beach. Before graduate school, I worked as behavior therapist implementing ABA under board certified behavior analysts (BCBA) at some of the best agencies in Los Angeles. After graduating at the top of my class, I interned as a clinical therapist in community mental health centers in East Los Angeles and Orange County while continuing to provide ABA case supervision. My work in community mental health focused on treating trauma, anxiety and depression in children.
I have over a decade of experience designing, implementing and managing behavioral therapy for children and adolescents.
